This hotel is beautiful and is 5 star. Close to the Crest Theatre and has the best restaurant. 5 stars.

Liked: The staff were courteous and efficient. The room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable, and the A/C worked very well. We enjoyed the political art in the room and quotes in the elevator. Marble everywhere likewise is a nice touch. I also enjoyed having coffee in the morning in the little sitting area up on the 14th floor.
Disliked: Carpets everywhere were old and threadbare. Also, the room was very small. There was hardly enough floor space to put down our luggage and still have room to move around. The bathroom was very nice, with an excellent shower -- and HUGE! About half the size of the room. We could have done with less bathroom and more main room.Lastly, parking was too expensive at $49. The valets were helpful and efficient, and having an app to call for your car is nice. However -- this really bugged me -- each time I called for my car it prompted me to tip. Really, after paying $49? So I said fine, let's do a $3 tip. Well guess what -- the app adds a "convenience fee" of 35% (!) to the tip. Convenience fee? Convenient for whom? Tips should be easy to offer and accept. Just charge it to the room! Why do I need a middleman charging a fee for what is a completely optional expense to begin with? It's like a tip on top of a tip. Needless to say, I only tipped that one time and if I ever stay at this hotel in the future, I'll park elsewhere.

Liked: I loved that they have a restaurant on premises and great service. They have incredible staff in the restaurant and at the bar. I’m pregnant and they recommended mocktails and were amazing.
Disliked: Someone in our floor was smoking however the staff was so quick to react they sprayed the floor down and offered a new room to us with food credits (10usd for each of us- I travelled with my husband). Nothing they could’ve done to prevent it.
