Excellent location and staff coupled...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and the location was extremely good for accessing York. I could leave my car at the hotel and walk into York.p
Disliked: The room could have been a little quieter, people moving large quantities of ,what sounded like glass, at 6-00 am.

Great stay, great staff, great...

Liked: The service of both the front desk and the waiters for the services that were held at the brasserie (we had breakfast and dinner there) was excellent - all very friendly, helpful and with a smile on their face. Plus, the actual meals were very good and good value for money, in a very nice atmosphere. The room per see was also great, and they accommodate it in the best way they could our request for an accessible room. We were very happy guests!

I was promised a Latte...

Liked: Modern clean interior, room was small but cosy and adequate. Very friendly courteous reception and bar staff
Disliked: Extremely disappointed with breakfast. Despite paying well over the odds for fruit juice, tea and porridge , I was asked to pay extra for scrambled egg. I was unable to get a Latte coffee despite there being a top notch machine 4 metres away. Toast was cold and soggy and not eatable. For the privilege of this very unsatisfactory breakfast I was charged £39When queried at reception I was told that the coffee machine was not turned on at breakfast and obviously none of the 3 staff present knew how to warm up milk

Beautiful hotel in a great...

Liked: The staff were friendly & helpful with good knowledge of the city.The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable with great facilities.The location is fantastic, just a 5 minute walk to the minster.
Disliked: The room was a little warm but that's just splitting hairs.
