Liked: Location was fine but the internet casts the nearest Metri station. Was Foggy Bottom or Farragut West which are a long way ftom the hotel . DuPont Circie is tte nrarest Metro station
Disliked: The hotel billing . The quoted rate for the whole stay was $641.30 The total amount should have been booked at once as with thecBeacon hotel where I also stayed.I was billed $218.06 plus £12.84 plus 436 The $12.84 was refunded However I have paid $654 which is an over payment.I discussed this with the hotel reception who had pre preauthorised an extra $561 and the manager said tyre was nothing he could do about that.May I suggest the hotel bills the full amount quoted pre authorises $300 which is refunded in check out as us customary at the Marriott and Hilton group hotels.I did NOT use a credit card but a cash card with US $ and there was no mention on Booking.com of any surcharges. I have been overcharged by $12.84 which was charged avd fhen refunded. However this amount should only have been refunded not charged as well. May I please exorcism a refund for the over payment ? Thank you

Liked: The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel staff was excellent...

Liked: There was no heat in our room. The staff provided blankets but said the system was either on heat or cool. It had been changed to cool. Also we had a standard king room. We didn’t know when we booked this did not include a chair. The hotel advertised that breakfast was included. It did not state this would be a continental breakfast only. Any other breakfast was an upcharge.

Would NOT recommend EVER!

Liked: There was NO heat, only AC. There is no information on the website that states there is a 2 pipe system in the building, which we only found out when we shared our concerns with the front desk. Our room was 60 degrees Fahrenheit and it was in April, which was cold and raw. We also did not have any hot water. Maintenance needed to come to our room twice after “fixing” it both times. The hot water lasted for 20 minutes. One of the reasons was because we were on the 8th floor and it’s an old building it takes awhile for the water to warm up. After running the water for over 10 minutes, it was still cold. Coincidentally, my parents were also on the 8th floor and the shower was scorching hot! They also did not have heat. The staff was less than pleasant and most had an attitude. Also, when you pay for “breakfast included” it’s only for one item on the breakfast menu. This was not stated on the website. And, if you have more than 2 people in your room, the third person has to pay full price. We were two adults and one child. Very disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel.
