A lovely hotel and we...

Liked: The location was ideal. Very quiet and yet only a ten minute walk to Windsor Castle ( over the bridge between Eton and Windsor. ) There are three pubs and several restaurants right on the doorstep. The room was very comfy and we were even given a free upgrade. A nice and plentiful breakfast was included in the price. There is also a well stocked bar that is open late. The whole hotel was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and professional. We will be back in the summer.

Liked: It's a great location to explore Windsor. We received welcome drinks, a superb breakfast, and very kind attention to every request. The parking was narrow but very well organised. I would love to stay again at the hotel. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!
Disliked: Small things, which always go hand in hand with vintage type of properties. This is natural and no complains from our side.

Windsor break

A very comfortable stay in...

Liked: The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable (and nicely large). The location of the hotel is brilliant - on the High Street in Eton, which is lovely in itself, and only a few minutes walk to the bridge across into Windsor, close to the castle. The breakfast was delicious - very fresh, poached eggs cooked to perfection, lovely pastries, classy yoghurts and much more! I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given a sharper knife (a steak knife type) to cut my avocado on sourdough - I have found all too often in restaurants that ordinary knives can make little headway with this - which was a very thoughtful touch. The bar was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was just delightful!
Disliked: I liked absolutely everything!

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely hotel. Lovely staff, great location.
Disliked: No hairdryer in my room but wasn't a problem as I borrowed one from my grandaughters who were staying in the room next door.
