With all the upheaval in...

Liked: Location was fabulous—close to parks, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff was friendly and helpful—we always felt that they wanted to please us. In fact, one day we received a small cake in our room to celebrate my son’s March birthday. Another evening we came into our room to find a small box of chocolate to celebrate UK’s Mother’s Day. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean.
Disliked: Perhaps the price could have been a bit lower although I would return and pay it again. Also, they were adding on to their hotel, so we had some construction noise for a little while during the day—never early or late to interrupt sleep. But when we return, we’ll reap the benefit of a new rooftop bar!

Liked: Everyone was amazing at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be kind. Even left a note and some candy for my husband running the half marathon ! Great overall experience.

Pleasant, comfortable, excellent staff, good...

Liked: Staff very helpful, personal attention and special acknowledgement of 80th birthday, reason for our stay. Very quiet, excellent adaptation for wheelchair access despite steps into hotel, staff prompt with ramp to allow entry.
Disliked: No mention before arrival of scaffolding, work being done with exterior fully covered with plastic sheeting. No view out of our windows.
