Lovely place to stay

Liked: Lovely, quaint old building with plenty of character. Good selection of beers and ciders too! Price reflects the minor issues and would definitely stay again
Disliked: Couldn't have dinner there on Monday or cooked breakfast on Tuesday!Small maintenance issues in the room e.g.loose tap in the bathroom, loose handles on the furniture, stains on the towels (although they were washed and smelled clean), carpet and walls around the switches.

Good location, comfortable bed

Liked: The breakfast was sparse. It was just bread for toasting, jam & cereal packets, milk & tea & coffee. We paid a hefty £10 each per person for breakfastWe were told it would be £10 for weekends p.p. & £8 for weekdays. We were charged £40 for breakfast for 2 people for a Sunday & Monday.
Disliked: We loved the location & the quiantness, Kayley was very welcoming to us, BUT the rooms lack maintenance. The first room we had, the shower was blocked & took all night to drain. The bedside light was broken on one side of the bed.We were moved to another room, the shower worked in the next room BUT the bedside lamps were not working BUT they were replaced by oddment table lamps that were in a poor condition. Not very good housekeeping & room maintenance.

Terrible, worn out, road noise...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The room (5) was old and tired, low ceilings a hazard. Bed was worn out mattress and lumpy, terrible quality, same for pillows and blankets. Towels were thin, old, worn out and grey. Shower was terrible, weak, no hot water in the morning, cubicle dirty. Toilet seat broken. Uneven floors, furniture tired, all terrible. Road noise terrible. Windows didn't close properly. Breakfast was NOT sold as a continental to me, £10 for a bit of toast and cereal, yoghurt, with instant coffee that I had to make myself.
