Had a lovely family stay...

Liked: Great locationNice family roomLovely staff
Disliked: Steak in restaurant was rare when asked for medium-well...but the rest of the meal was delicious and staff were so nice.Breakfast would be better made to order than buffet style but that is personal preference.

Good but needs improvement

Liked: It was in a great location and value was good but it’s tired bathroom needs a deep clean and repairs done ie shower

The staff were friendly but...

Liked: Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: The room 110 was on the front. It was dreadfully noisy and my mom and I barely slept. There was a lot of passing traffic. This included large loud lorries. Some items of the breakfast were cold (mushrooms and beans) whilst the sausage, bacon and eggs were hot. On booking I did enquire about booking a room over looking the garden for myself and my mom as it was her 70th birthday but I was told no as only expensive rooms were available.

A pleasant stay and exceptional...

Liked: Exceptional value for money. Central location with free parking. Large room with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Satisfactory breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: One of the bedside lamps was broken and although we reported it to reception there was no one available to fix it. The room didn’t have much other lighting.
