Beautiful historical hotel with modern...

Liked: The space and the history of the building is lovely. The staff was friendly. The bar, lobby and coffee shop was yummy, comfortable, and tastefully modern/historical.
Disliked: My son and I could hear our neighbors business conversation word for word at 7am. Also there was construction - pounding and drilling-on our floor while we were still asleep in the morning.

Liked: We stopped in LaCrosse on our way to Minneapolis on a Sunday evening. We were given a room upgrade to a suite for 50% off given the time of year. We enjoyed the giant claw foot tub and the rain shower. The king-size bed was lovely and our balcony had nice views of the Mississippi. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, it was exceptional and both times our server was funny and attentive! Oh, and the chocolates we received at check-in were amazing.
Disliked: Not a thing -- it was perfect!
