I’ve never stayed here before but it was near the concert venue I was going to. All of the 60 rooms have only one queen bed, so I requested a rollaway bed for my friend who was joining me. There was a key glitch that wouldn’t open that door, although the master key card would. Eventually we settled on being accompanied to our room when we returned from the concert. Not a problem, front desk were so helpful. The hotel is nicely decorated and at one time had an art gallery connected to it. A word of warning, when you go to check in from the street entrance, you’ll have to ring and will be let in quickly; it’s for security because vagrants would otherwise wander in. That’s how urban areas can be. I will stay there again.
Liked: Nice sized rooms, excellent staff, and a decent breakfast choice.

Overall it was good.
Liked: LOVED the bed & bed linens, so comfy & luxurious! Clean room, friendly staff & complementary treats near front desk…very nice! Close walk to Target Center
Disliked: The lighting was awful in the bathroom, bulb on the side of the mirror was burnt out obviously, the toilet seat was worn out & it was too warm in the room, thermostat was all the way to 60 but was not that temp in the room but thankfully we were able to open the windows & was nice enough outside that could keep them open so room temp stayed perfect.

Hot. Hot. Hot.
Liked: The hotel manager was very friendly and receptive to our concerns. The hotel didn't have A/C, so our room was 85 degrees. Which made being in our room almost impossible and very uncomfortable. The shower also had very gross mold/mildew.

Great hotel in the heart...
Liked: Great hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis theater district. Great dining/coffee/bar options. Reasonably priced offsite city parking garage is conveniently located next to the hotel on Hennepin Ave. Parking for check-in is on 9th Ave. 3/4 mile walk to the river where you can access the riverfront walks. Rooms are very comfortable and the hotel architecture is interesting and hip.

Liked: We didn't have the breakfast, but I was there once before and it was grab and go situation. Not sure if they have breakfast service.
Disliked: The shower in the bathroom could've been cleaner.

Quiet room, friendly, great location.
Liked: Breakfast was just a simple grab and go buffet. We went to a great diner on Nicollet. When we checked out, I had forgotten a down vest that might have fallen off the sofa. When I came back, the receptionist had it for me almost before I finished asking! The room was very quiet! Excellent restaurants for dinner are close by.
Disliked: Parking in the pubic ramp behind the hotel was very convenient, but requires on-line payment and some fiddling. Breakfast was just a simple grab and go buffet. We went to a nearby diner on Nicollet.

It was amazing, whenever I'm...
Liked: The general manager was so accommodating. The front desk staff was helpful as well! We got upgraded to a suite and the suite was gorgeous. It was immensely comfortable.
Disliked: Two really weird things that I noticed. Neither are bad things but it was weird to only have a bedside clock in the entire suite. One clock in an entire mini apartment was different. And only two or three trash locations, maybe I'm weird for expecting a trash can in every area lol.
