Fabulous family celebration

Liked: The staff went out of their way to help our family group celebrate an 80th birthday. Gift in the room and a glass of bubbly on her birthday. We also had rooms close together as requested. Excellent breakfastoo.
Disliked: Minor issue of clanking bathroom pipes!

Liked: The location was excellent for the area’s we were visiting, all within walking distance. Breakfast was good, bacon a little well done. The room was clean and comfortable, but smaller than expected, however, for just one night it was fine. The staff were most helpful, from the parking valet, concierge, reception and breakfast servers, all are a credit to the hotel.
Disliked: We arrived earlier than the check in time, but informed that a room could be available if we were a member of ASR, so we completed the form and were taken to our room, unfortunately it was next to the lifts, with AC units outside the window, so we asked to be moved, which is the first time I have ever had to do that. As mentioned above, the room was comfortable but smaller than we expected.
