Liked: room was lovely really spacious and clean. Excellent biscuits! Bed was comfy but pillows left a little to be desired - brought our own :-) Towels were changed but bed wasn't made. Bus service into Keswick!
Disliked: Not a lot of choice at evening meal. So only ate there once. Needed to book for breakfast and evening meal which took a little spontaneity out of it. Also hearing co-owners telephone conversations whilst relaxing in the conservatory was annoying

Liked: The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were really nice. The breakfast and evening food were really tasty. The room was clean and a decent size. They had a log burner burning at night, which was lovely. This is a very big, quiet inn which is lovely if you just want to relax. There were mini lifts to get wheel chairs downstairs and flat flooring/ramps in most areas.
Disliked: The inn is undergoing renovation, and there were rolls of carpet, flooring, etc. in an entrance. Also, plaster was missing around a window, and a doorway was unfinished. The hand rail going into the pool area was very wobbly, and we lost £2 in the lockers. The steam room was not working. The bar area closed at 9.30 due to a lack of customers. We hardly saw anyone at night, and when in an empty room we played some music on our phones to entertain ourselves, at 21:20 the manager came and told us to be quite. My 84 year old mother used a scooter to move around, but in the breakfast area there were 3 steps, thus making independence impossible.

Disliked: Breakfast location was an eye-opener as food tables were located in front of toilet doors in bar , at least cover doors with curtain to hide toilet doors, not best location ever only flaw in otherwise perfect stay

Disliked: After travelling over 4 hours to spend the weekend to celebrate my mums 80th to be told that we wasn't able to have a evening meal at the hotel as we haven't revised a table we wasn't told this when booking to hotel so we had to travel 20 minutes down the down to find somewhere to eat I can honestly say thst I'll not be returning to the hotel for that reason that we was turned away from the hotel restaurant when other people thats not staying in the hotel are taking spaces up and the people that staying in the hotel are not able to get a booking
