The Castle Vaults bar/restaurant has an exposed vaulted ceiling which was part of the original 18th-century wine cellars. It offers modern cuisine a pre-theater menu and an evening à la carte menu along with live traditional Irish music around weekends. The Old Music Shop restaurant is located in a Georgian Room overlooking Findlater's 19th-century Gothic Revival Church. It offers an all-day menu of pizza pasta salads and gourmet sandwiches. Lovely stay

Liked: I loved its charm. With the beautiful carpets and furniture. The first night I enjoyed my dinner and the music in the restaurant and the breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. The location, fabulous!

Very Pleasant and Comfortable Stay

Liked: We stay in numerous hotels every year, and this was one of our better hotel experiences in 2024. The hotel itself was unexpected as it was several large, older Georgian (I believe) homes combined into one hotel. This made it a very unusual layout resulting in a maze of corridors and levels not experienced in any other hotel we’ve stayed in. It also had restaurants with excellent food and service but one with great entertainment as well. The location was perfect for our daily walkabouts in Dublin and the staff was very friendly, helpful and we even met the Owner and had a pleasant 20-minute chat about the hotel's history and local sites to visit. I would not hesitate to book it again when back in Dublin.
