Liked: Location, style of the hotel and friendly staff
Disliked: The breakfast wasn’t value for the price. Toast very pale as couldn’t turn the toaster up. Eggs Benedict one egg hard the other undercooked. The coffee was cold . My tea pot kept sticking to the table. Don’t know what they wipe the tables with.

Liked: It's always been a firm favourite location is great, lovely staff cleanliness in the hotel is throughout!
Disliked: Just felt this time after 2yrs since our last visit looked a little tired in the corridors chipped paintwork and dated wallpaper etc. The cleaning is impeccable but the decor let's it down.The main lounge at the front needs some TLC also looks tired, more publike with the gastro food and plainess of the furnishings. The menu could be more imaginative with specials.Miss the poached haddock on the breakfast menu.

Disliked: While the staff were very accommodating, they weren’t warm/sincere. They sounded like they were reading from a script. There was a strange musty smell in the bedroom too. The stairs down to the restaurant were littered with a couple of used napkins and some stray chips.
