Liked: Loved the castle, cosy vintage inn, lovely staff, lovely food, we've aleady booked to go back next month.

Liked: The staff are friendly and helpful and welcoming . Beds are so comfortable
Disliked: I know it’s a dog welcome place. But the seated restaurant used to be no dogs. So booked as usual. Halfway through meal family seated next to us with a wet dog. Left our food. Don’t mind dogs but when eating no. Was told now policy change. Still be back. The food could be better. Breakfast excellent. Just evening food lot sold out. And dry

Nice room but needs updating

Liked: Nice large room and en suite On-site parking
Disliked: Noisy dark room. Lack of facilities for putting makeup on. Not having breakfast included in the price

Great peacefull stay

Liked: Location couldn’t have been better, safe parking and seating outside.
Disliked: Beer was pricey

Tasty food and friendly staff...

Liked: Both evening meal and breakfast were very tasty and well presented. Staff were very friendly and attentive to customer needs. Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Ceiling above the shower had mould on it and mould present in grouting between tiles in several areas in shower. It takes several minutes for the cold water to come through the mixer tap in bedroom 2.

Liked: Staff were brilliant, Superb location and the evening food was excellent. Nice big comfy bed and The full English in the morning was spot on!
Disliked: The bedroom / bathroom was in need of a tiny bit of TLC, that is the only criticism I have.
