Bed was comfy

Liked: I liked the spacious feel comfy bed.
Disliked: It was freezing cold and the heating didn’t warm the place up to much. Don’t really have much staff involvement.I couldn’t even use the sink for washing up.

Liked: Room and bathroom were a decent size and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The most expensive stay whilst hiking St Cuthbert's way, but the worst experience. Wifi has weak/non-existent connection in the rooms, only in the bar downstairs. Breakfast is a continental breakfast stored in a fridge in the room. Travelling off-season it was unclear how long items had been left for - mould was in the apple juice. Fridge itself is loud in the room. If the hotel isn't able to offer a decent breakfast rather they just said so as a well-stocked Co-op is opposite the hotel.

Liked: it was so comfortable and relaxing - staff were really friendly and professional .room was lovely and so was the food - the breakfast was a lovely touch .would definitely go back .little gem .
