Very good

Liked: The location, it is really easy to get here. There is a bus stop close to the place. Quiet neighbourhood and it has a pub really close by. The facilities were good and nice spaced bedrooms.
Disliked: The breakfast could be improved, on Saturday the staff member was late and had to rush. Only the sausage was hot and the rest was not too good. On Sunday, the breakfast was not impressive either, some items were heavily charred. The cooked breakfast is the let down of the stay.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Charalampos Thu, 20 March 2025

It could be great, but...

Liked: The room was GORGEOUS. It was freshly painted, the decor was thought through, curtains, mirrors, matching lights and colours throughout. The bathroom looked like a million bucks. It was marble and felt quality. The location was pretty close to my work and it has a coop close by walking distance. It was a quiet room and even though it looks like it faces the parking lot in the pictures, it doesn't and it's very quiet. Also, I can't mention enough how clean it all was. It was one of the cleanest rooms, I've stayed in.
Disliked: Everything else. Bear with me, this was a weird one. The basic stuff that are advertised are just not there:Wifi is unusable. Not slow. Straight up unusable. It's Elon Musk's starlink (for whatever reason) and you can't even send an email through it. It disconnects for a good 3-4 minutes, every 10 minutes. Sending a message through booking about the Internet being bad at around 5pm got me a response around 11am the next day AFTER I had checked out. Even when connected the speed is abysmal. I found a staff member the next morning and when I asked about the Internet the response was 'never, it's always been great. In fact I am using my phones currently with it and we never ever had any complaints', only to go and ask a pair of guests that were eating breakfast, who verified it's been disconnecting all the time.Another issue. The bed is terrible. It's a big bed but the mattress is non existent. It's so soft that if you're a guy you're guaranteed to sit on the slats every single moment you try to sit on the bed and not lie down. The mattress (or whatever is there) is so soft that you WILL feel the wood under the bed and there's no way you'll be comfortable trying to sit up to watch TV. Thankfully I was alone but if I had to sleep on one side of the bed, the whole night I would have been leaning to fall towards the outside, because of how soft it is.The second biggest problem is the parking. So, I'm reaching the premises in my car, I pull in, there's already 5 cars in front of the guesthouse and obviously no more space to put my car. I call them, turns out I can park in the parking lot of a pub nearby. So, it's advertised as having parking when it doesn't. The parking was full no matter how many times I went out during the day. It wasn't that the pub was far, but when something is advertised as having parking, I'd expect parking on the premises. Some other weird stuff.
