Excellence of staff and beautiful...

Liked: Excellent welcome from all staff.Beautiful building , very sophisticated and furnished with great style.Immaculately clean and outstanding food and restaurant staff.
Disliked: Having to leave it !

Lovely hotel, attentive staff, great...

Liked: Lovely old hotel, immaculate room that contained everything you'd expect for a Hotel of this class. Hallways, stairs and lifts very clean and grand. This was a surprise overnight for my partner whose birthday weekend we were celebrating and as she explained this to the receptionist we were given a complimentary room upgrade and after dinner a lovely Happy Birthday dessert - which was extremely gracious of them. Very attentive staff and for a cut price January deal, was excellent for the money. Newly decorated dining court is very nice for an evening meal.
Disliked: Would have preferred a stocked in room mini-bar but packages were available to request, so not a major issue at all.

Great hotel with warm friendly...

Liked: Fabulous hotel! Super professional and friendly staff. The cocktails were outstanding, try the Mango Highball! Being greeted by the very switched on gentleman at the front door and being addressed personally by our name by staff! How do they do that?This is a great place to stay!
Disliked: We should have stayed longer!

Liked: Everything! This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredible! Especially Erin on the front desk who made my birthday so special! She was so friendly and helpful! Also Helen in the restaurant was lovely and so accommodating, she remembered our orders every day, we are going to come back just for her! Facilities are perfect and the room was beautiful. The breakfast options are delicious and the location couldn’t be better. best hotel ever and worth the money! Picture is the view from the room.

Liked: Great location
Disliked: Poor customer service regarding damage to car. Seems pointless to more condition of car upon arrival, if car is damaged whilst on site and hotel simply are not interested. Tone of emails became rude from hotel when escalating my complaint. I would not recommend this property

Liked: Beautiful property inside and out,very grand and looked after.Was in a perfect location for getting around sightseeing etc
Disliked: Breakfast was massively overpriced we didn’t book.The bar was very expensive and didn’t have a lot of choice.

Exceptional

Liked: Absolutely everything but especially the breakfast buffet. My partner and I are both vegetarian so it was a pleasant surprise that the hotel catered so well to this. Also, the tattie scones were HEAVEN!!! Beautiful hotel, staff are so lovely and so helpful, excellent location

Exceptional

Liked: Such a beautiful property. My partner and I met here 8 years ago and we’re coming to stay for the first time for his birthday. Before arriving staff had very kindly upgraded our room and gave us one with a castle view too. I had organised before hand to have balloons in the room and they had made sure that everything was ready before we checked in. The room was very comfortable. We both had a great nights sleep. The room came with a bath and a shower and both were very nice. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.
Disliked: The smell outside the property wasn’t very pleasant
