Ronda, New Bedford, visiting The Cabot Beverly Sun, 19 March 2023

Perfectly situated in the area to events, shops and restaurants. For a small space they made the most of it and provided everything necessary for a perfect stay.

Liked: Everything. Very quaint and clean. Location was perfect.
Disliked: Nothing.

Best hotel experience I’ve ever...

Liked: First off, the location of the property was perfect for our October Salem trip. Only a short 5 minute drive from there. The staff were incredible. Treating my 5 year old daughter like one of their own. Everything from coffee shops and restaurants to specialty shops were right outside the door. Really comfortable bed with a bunk bed over the bathroom. Smaller room compared to your typical chain hotel, but so much cleaner and put together. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
Disliked: Nothing

Good

Liked: I wasn't aware of breakfast being available. There was a small area with coffee, but no breakfast.
Disliked: Room was surprisingly small. No room for luggage and too cramped for two people.

Don't expect there to be...

Liked: It was clean and the location was great. Walking distance to restaurants and a very quick drive to Salem. The room was smaller than you are imagining. It was smaller than an inside cabin on a cruise ship. There was nowhere to even put a bag down, when we walked in with things in our hands they had to go in the sink. The loft was cute but the ladder was atrocious. It was made of metal rebar that had bumps on it. If you walked on it barefoot it was very very painful so the person sleeping up there had to bring their shoes up with them and put them on just to come down to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The bathroom door was glass and only frosted in the middle so if you were using it the person in the loft couldn't go up the ladder or they would be looking right at you. The staff is only there 9 am to 5 pm every day. We arrived at 6 and they were gone. The next day we left at 9:30 am to go out for the day and no one was there and when we got back around 5:30 they were gone. Sunday morning (the 3rd day we were there) we finally saw a person. If you have an emergency you can text them to the number they send you messages at (such as welcome, checking in, goodbye, etc) so basically my only interaction with staff was through text messages. I also left an item in the room and called them to see if it was there and never received a call back. For almost $800 for 2 nights I do not recommend this hotel.
Disliked: No staff, room too small, rebar ladder to loft

Overpriced and not clean. Would...

Liked: The hotel is located on the Main Street. There are coffee shops around, which is convenient.
Disliked: It's one of the most unpleasant places we have stayed at. For what we paid for, this place is highly overpriced. Hotels near Salem have raised their prices too ridiculously. It is cramped and not clean at all. I found a used coffee cup near the bunk bed. A motel-like place should not charge the price of a four-star hotel.

Very clean, nice facility. Will...

Liked: Location was great, facility was very clean, staff was super nice. Parking was easy and affordable. Loved that a self laundry was just a block away. Also great to have a few free snack amenities in the room.
Disliked: The room itself was small but doable. With all the other positives small room size wasn't an issue for us.
