It was a Yorkshire version...

Liked: The location in the centre of Reeth. The sitting room was comfortable and cosy.
Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom were tired and needed revamping. The staff were friendly and pleasant, but totally incompetent. The dinner menu was very limited and didn’t change on a daily basis,breakfast was good, but the service was terribly slow, and the tables were not laid properly eg no side plates. The evening meals were not good.

Liked: A super find! A warm welcome which after a 10 hour drive was much appreciated. Both rooms had extremely comfortable beds, quiet rooms, great showers and a delish breakfast. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice place

Liked: Wonderful and friendly staff, lovely spacious room with an amazing view. Very cosy lounge with a welcoming fire.
Disliked: The restaurant, we had 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts as is was a quiet time it was quite cold and not enjoyable.

Liked: Excellent room, superb views.
Disliked: A bit too warm!
