Bad experience. Bad treatment.

Liked: The bed is extremely comfortable. Pretty clean for english standards. The lady with curly blonde hair and the check in lady were lovely.
Disliked: I hate giving bad reviews, and I never do, but it's impossible not to this time.First of all, check out time is at 11 on Booking.com but once you check in they tell you that is within 10.30.When I entered the toilet in my room n. 5, the radiator fell on my foot. There was an old paper sheet on it saying not to touch it since it is loose and that they called the workman and were waiting for him, but trust me, that paper sheet was there since a long time.Luckily I am not a troublemaker, otherwise they would have had to respond for lack of safety and physical damage.Sticky gel on the carpet that got stuck on our socks. The room is whether too warm or too cold - no middle way.We booked this place because we wanted to eat and have a beer right under our room after a long day walking. When we came back for dinner, they said they "were not cooking today" - on saturday night, with no advice. They simply decided they wouldn't cook. So they suggested us to go to Freight Island and thank god we had dinner over there. We came back at 21.50 to have a beer - the pub door was closed but there were people inside (closing time is 23 as you can see everywhere online). So we accessed the pub via hotel door, and when we came at the counter asking for a beer, the lady told me they were closed! We had 7 people around us drinking! So I let her notice that the closing time is at 23 - she said they were closign because "today is quiet" but again I complained that in one evening they denied us dinner and also a beer, all services that they were supposed to offer. At that point she "mercifully" gave us two beers.Un-be-lie-va-ble.No Wi-Fi.Dirty access from street to rooms. You have to be careful in the shower since water turns quickly extremely hot.Breakfast is poor.Value for money is out of control, it's not worth it.

Very pleasant for a Short...

Liked: Everything was clean and tidy especially the rooms. Easy access in and out. Friendly staff. Ideal location especially next to the Train Station..
Disliked: The guest WiFi was very temperamental. The green light in my bedroom was very off putting and made me struggle for sleep. It wasn’t really a continental breakfast with just cereal, toast and Pastries..

It was ok for one...

Liked: Easy check in. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: It was a Continental breakfast, not a cooked breakfast. No meals were served at the pub. Parking is terrible. 10 mins away ,3 carparks which you had to pay which was full of big holes, And which I was concerned about leaving the car there. As it was just a back streets dumping ground.

Nice and clean, but.

Liked: The room was lovely and clean and new, bed comfortable
Disliked: I got trapped outside my room at 1am until 6am due to the door shutting on me when I went to grab a provided bottle of water from the fridge in the hallway. Unfortunately at that time I forgot to bring my key and was left stranded outside the room for over 5 hours until the cleaner lady let me in to the room :( I had to sit in the little green chair until this time. I know it's my fault for forgetting my key card but I was not thinking at the time. I recommend you guys install some keypad locks onto the doors to stop a similar thing happening again, especially considering you don't have a reception where people can get a new card were they to make the same mistake as me. Just change the codes on the locks every time somebody leaves the hotel. All in all apart from the 2 hours I slept I thought the hotel was nice and cosy and clean
