Great location and good rooms

Liked: The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Good black out blinds and comfortable bed. The room was spacious too. Nice bar area.
Disliked: The food service takes forever. We did lunch and the breakfast and just took so long. Plenty of staff but not sure why it took so long for everything - food and drinks.

Handy but doors spoilt it...

Liked: Good location in the High Street with limited parking at the rear.
Disliked: Room 1 is directly above the main entrance and the doors crash into each other each time someone enters or leaves the pub or hotel. The banging of doors every minute until 1145pm was wearing! I cannot believe the Hotel aren’t able to resolve this issue.

Liked: Excellent stay - so friendly and a lovely, rustic room. Fantastic location and breakfast the next morning was cooked fresh and delicious.

Liked: Good location very quirky with uneven floors and other character elements
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing took 30min to be served and food was overcooked to the point of being inedible
