Offering private and dormitory rooms with free unlimited WiFi The Bug Backpackers is just 15 minutes' walk from local shops and restaurants. Guests can enjoy cooking their meals in the kitchen and eat in the dining area during the cold months and on the deck or in the garden during the warmer months. Bike rental services are available at the property. The Bug is ideally located for visits to the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and the region's wineries and beaches. Cosy little guesthouse

Liked: Cosy little guesthouse, you've got all you need for a comfortable stay: kitchen, clean bathroom, cosy backyard and parking.
Disliked: Little noisy as the walls aren't thick but it didn't trouble us as the other guests were respectful and didn't talk till late.

FELT LIKE HOME!

Liked: Everything! The place is cute, nicely decorated, with a very pleasant back yard to hang out and the staff is very nice and friendly!
Disliked: I loved everything!

Never again

Liked: Appaling behaviour by the live on staff member. Reminiscent of someone coming off steriods or meth or something in movies. I have no idea what was actually wrong with her but definately not right in the head.DO NOT STAY HERE.
Disliked: The behavior exhibited by the live in staff was absolutely disgusting. Intimidating violent and inappropriate. If this wasn't the case it would be a very good backpackers. But it's not a safe place so long as that person's still there
