Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay...

Liked: Breakfast could be improved. 2 slices toast. Optional Hash browns, Baked Beans. Sauces? Female member of staff that morning which was quiet made me Wait unnecessarily to order whilst she rearranged a table.
Disliked: As above

Disappointing for price. Won't stay...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, good location, good decorative condition, clean and tidy.
Disliked: Hotel oppressively hot- guests and staff agreed. Overpriced for tiny room, TV changed channels on its own randomly. Restaurant overpriced (£27 for SMALL cod and potatoes as it was 'catch of the day'. Greasy breakfast. Difficult parking near hotel. Too many dogs allowed- I don't want yapping between dogs while trying to have a quiet drink in the lounge.

Tranquil and relaxing.

Liked: Location excellent. Listening to the sea whilst laying in bed was so relaxing. Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from.
Disliked: Not sure the room was worth what we paid but then that’s Aldeburgh for you.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful views. Yet...

Liked: Great location Not as wide a choice for fish on the menu- my reason for booking Darren your chef only does 2 fish dishes per evening. If I’m staying for 5 days there should be more choices. He is an excellent chef and is wasted on the rest of the menu. Use him more!!
Disliked: The hotel is located in a fishing location yet only 2 fish dishes per night. I had whitebait but these were cooked from frozen. If you can freeze whitebait you can freeze other fresh fish to give customers a wider choice of menu.

Relaxing ,restful and well worth...

Liked: Loved the view from our room, the friendly staff and that we could bring our dog. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and cafes. Well run and good restaurant.
Disliked: Slightly small car park (no problem at this time of year but may be a problem at peak times) However there is free street parking.
