We thoroughly enjoyed our night...
Liked: It has a kind of charm and old world grace that is hard to find, nowadays. The bed was very comfortable and the room, spacious. The dinner we had was also exceptional, as was the service.
Disliked: The only minor complaint was the volume of the piano which certainly did NOT need amplification and which made one have to raise one’s voice to have a conversation. The pianist should stick to non-classical repertoire… the Mozart a minor sonata was quite beyond his level of technique!

Wonderful visit to Louisville with...
Liked: Very pretty and historic property and the corner room had a great view! Enjoyed English Grill and Hot Brown.
Disliked: Room a little weathered and AC/heater started to make a loud bang noise as turned on so lost some sleep.

It was fine
Disliked: The brunch on the weekend was incredibly expensive. We paid $52/each for the buffet and cappuccinos. The rooms are dated and musty. But our room was large and spacious.

It was a birthday celebration...
Liked: Impeccable service at all points.
Disliked: I prefer a real glass in my room, as opposed to paper.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff....
Liked: Classic accommodations. Were able to check in early. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Slow service in the dining room. Got food before cocktails, forgot request for coffee refills. Minor stuff, but important in a hotel of this renown.

Classic accommodations with modern convenience
Liked: Gorgeous old hotel, beautifully maintained. Great security with key access floors. Lovely comfortable room. The Lobby Bar was great for dinner and people watching with a large wedding party going on upstairs. Brunch looked delicious but I ordered an omelet a la carte - fantastic food and service. Made a new Facebook friend of my server, Dawn. Followed up by a visit to the Louisville Slugger Factory, recommended by one of the Brown's concierge staff, was the perfect capper to my visit to Louisville.
