Liked: Great location. The fires were on!! After a day hiking, I was ready for a beer and to sit by the cosy fire. Very friendly and helpful staff.A great breakfast and a hearty evening meal.We could even use the spa and pool at the nearby Langdale Estate Hotel.My friend and I stayed in a twin room which whilst quite small is perfect for a hiking trip.

Perfect Lakesland Inn

Liked: A traditional Lakeland pub that has successfully avoided going the way of spas and gastros. Excellent staff, a superb location, excellent menu choice and comfortable rooms.

Liked: Pub atmosphere and location. Friendly service. Lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Quite expensive. Twin-bed bedroom was tight for space. Only one electric socket, which was behind one bedside unit.
