Liked: Great location in centre of town. Staff member at check in very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Room was very small and dated, no sign of breakfast or staff in the morning.

Disliked: Beds are sagging, and needs to be updated. Rooms are VERY small. It’s literally a bed with no room to move around, and a closet bathroom. The plug for fridge was loose and the fridge made so much noise we just left it unplugged(now we know why it was unplugged in the first place)I thought I booked a bigger room but the description on booking.com was incorrect

Liked: The Bristol location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay in town. The staff was courteous and helpful and the freshly made pastries in the morning were delicious. We hadn't stayed here in nearly 10 years and the room updates are nice. Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Given the size of the rooms, there is very little room to move around, which could add to it's charm. However, we really needed a place to store our clothes and the drawers under the bed were filthy (dust and hair had not been cleaned for some time) so we lived out of our suitcases during our stay, which took up very valuable space. We also noticed dust on the headboard and corners of the room. So we loved the location and historical factor of this hotel but cleanliness is key for us and I can't recommend staying here for that reason.

Locations was ideal!!

Liked: The location was ideal! With my limited mobility we were centrally located with everything within walking distance
Disliked: The room was smaller than I expected and didn’t have a lot of space to allow me to do challenging tasks, like somewhere to sit to put my shoes on.

Extremely disappointing and terrible. Lack...

Liked: Property is very old and is not maintained as I would expect for a hotel that competes in the middle range of hotel pricing structure.
Disliked: We booked for two nights. First night we could not sleep because of a rat or some other similar creature chewing on the wall. Next morning when we told this to the morning Clark, she said that she will inform the manager and we will receive a call from him. We never heard from him. Finally we found another hotel to move to. Till today the manager never called or refunded our money. Although we did not see the rats moving in the room because of the darkness, we could feel it. We also realized that there was no night time manager at the hotel. Which means all those hotel residents are on their own if any emergency happens including fire. That made us extremely scared.
