Exceptional

Liked: Great staff, extremely welcoming, Very clean & comfortable rooms. Great nights sleep followed by a lovely breakfast. We use this hotel as our preferred place to stay when visiting family or a stopover when traveling on holiday to Scotland

Passable

Just off the beaten path...

Liked: Check in was nice and efficient, the hotel is spending money on modernizing and while it's not fully there yet it's pleasant. It's not far off the M1 so it's good for travelling and it was excellent value for money.
Disliked: Well it didn't bother me but money is being spent on some things to get the most bang for the buck so if you're looking for a modern straight line experience you might not like it. I liked it and found it great value for money.
