Nice modern hotel connected to...

Liked: Main part is Tudor, but we were in the modern extension. Breakfast (good) was in the Tudor part. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Family run which is a plus. The staff paid attention to your needs without being pushy. Convenient to visiting Battle Abbey.

Brickwall Hotel October 2024

Liked: The whole authentic ambience, some paintwork may be required but the room size, peaceful location, efficiently friendly professional staff, lounge areas, outstanding food and extremely comfortable bed more than made up for a small lick of paint needed.
Disliked: The bathroom radiator within my room was extremely hot. I attempted to turn it down, but it made no difference. I didn't ask any staff members to attend to it as I didn't want the result to be possibly too cool! It would be advisable to have the radiator checked.

Comfortable, relaxing and will return...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, nice arrange of items. Staff are amazing. Bed really comfortable.
Disliked: No bed side plugs. We don't live far so we popped home to get one as we needed it for his sleep apna machine. Nearest plug was over the other side of the room.
