Hipster Oceanside w/ amazing coffee

Liked: Very comfortable bed, clean room, lovely decor plus great rooftop area, lobby bar and coffee shop out back. The whole place is so stylish. Easy to check in and out. Near to everything. Gorgeous views.
Disliked: The basic room is extra tiny, basically 4 walls. we upgraded for another $50 in order to have a little sofa. Staff was very sweet. Was very loud downstairs but not really an issue. Windows are secure. Needs kettle. Windows need more protection from outside, felt like people can see in. But nice big open view.

Couldn't sleep for NOISE

Liked: The design of the hotel & rooms is very nice. The noise level was off the charts though.
Disliked: Quiet. Rooms needed noise insulation. Far too noisy to sleep in before the rooftop club shut at midnight

Solo female traveler felt so...

Liked: Location. My room was adorable and very chic. Rooftop bar had gorgeous views during sunset. Loved the coffee shop and Owner was so helpful. Such a great idea to give a coupon to each. Again the location to me was unbeatable.

Unique beautiful boutique hotel perfectly...

Not going back . I...

Liked: When we finally got into our room . The bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: We didn't get into our room for hours .the water in the shower was cold & so early in the morning .we got the room 203 when I payed only for the room 304 only !The 203 room was tiny & not With a balcony!

Disappointing

Liked: It was cute.
Disliked: There was a horrible smell in the halls and elevator. The roof top is very loud until at least 1am. The room was not clean

Passable

Liked: Location is excellent. Staff is very good. Parking is free and at least when we've stayed here, they offer complimentary cocktails at the rooftop bar which is a nice little treat. If you can book one of the corner rooms, you'll enjoy plenty of space and a large balcony with a partial ocean view.
Disliked: We've stayed at Brick Hotel several times and generally had a positive experience, aside from one recurring issue. On each of our visits, we've encountered very low water pressure in the showers, which has made showering almost pointless.We finally raised this concern with the staff on our most recent stay, we also mentioned it in a previous review, they stated they were unaware of the problem, but assured us they would look into addressing it. We're hopeful the hotel will be able to resolve this, as it has been an ongoing inconvenience during our past visits.Overall, Brick Hotel's other amenities and location continue to meet our needs. We'd be eager to return once the water pressure issue has been corrected, as we've otherwise enjoyed our time at the property.

Liked: loved the complimentary cocktails @ RoofTop Bar. Also..coffee in the morning was a very nice amenity! Staff was amazing and all around good time!
