Liked: The property is located very near the center of town. We parked a short walk away in their private lot so we didn’t have to worry about metered parking. Our room, the ‘Eisenhower’ room, was an attic room, so we were happy that the air conditioning kept the room nice and comfortable. The room was rather large. We didn’t use it, but the room was equipped with a gas fireplace.
Disliked: Our room was a few doors down from the main Inn and the stay felt more like a short term rental than a stay at a historic property. Facing the street, it was noisy from car and truck traffic during the daytime but thankfully quiet at night. The room was a tad dated ( the pillows were hard hard) but clean and large. There were many rooms associated with the Inn. Unfortunately, ours was above a store a few doors down from the main Inn which we had to exit from the outside to get to breakfast. We wish we had communicated prior to booking as the experience of our stay felt more like we were in a short term rental than in a historic inn.

Liked: Friendly, clean, great location, great bed! What else is there to say? They also had storage for bikes. Amy and Brian made us feel extremely welcome. I would stay there again in a minute.

Liked: I had read that the proprietors were very nice and it is so true. I was greeted with warmth and all the information I needed.
Disliked: It is beautiful and historic and the room was just so beautiful! I loved the bathtub jacuzzi!
