The room, the bar and the restaurant were fabulous. The location is ideal to attend an event at TD Garden. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend in Boston.

Was my first time in Boston and to see an NHL game and I'm so glad we picked The Boxer to stay in while we were there. A very central location to a lot of the main spots in Boston - I think I took a cab once in the two days I was there and we did A LOT! Awesome staff and a very cute room - the pictures don't do enough for the hotel. Great stay - I will definitely be back.

Liked: Got exactly the room I wanted with two double beds - no mix up. = )
Disliked: They forgot to fill my bathroom amenities when they cleaned the room - honest mistake.

There was no mention of the hotel's renovations. So that was a surprise, and considering the extensive renovations, the room rate probably should have been a little less. Also, I selected a double bed room and didn't receive. That said, our room was nice and it looks like the hotel will be too, once finished.

Liked: Room was nice, as I believe it was recently renovated.
Disliked: Renovations and not the room we selected.

By far one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Thank you!

Disliked: I was forced to pay 100$ pet fee even though I travelled with a service animal and I showed his documents at checkin

Good Hotel in central Boston,...

Liked: Good Hotel for a short stay in Boston. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has a good seize with awesome shampoo & soap. We would choose this hotel again!
Disliked: The parking garage is 5 walking minutes away and unfortunately our bed was broken.

Disliked: Small room which I expected as old building , but this was smaller still and an expensive price.

Stunning location let down by...

Liked: Room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. AC was great.
Disliked: No shower gel in dispenser. Housekeeping did not top this up even when pointed out and a tip given. No hot water in shower, so had to have a cold shower three nights out of four. Raised with reception multiple times.

Liked: They upgraded us for free to a higher floor and gave us free bottle of champagne and chocolates because I said it was our anniversary.
