Over priced room that lacked...

Liked: Room looked like the photos posted
Disliked: The room was too small + The room was not tended to as i had to make my own room up the 2nd day of stopping and nothing was resupplied ie coffee Towles + the included hot breakfast was not provided just advised to go to another cafe a couple of doors down from the hotel + Could not sleep until after 01.00 am due to the volume of noise coming from the pub and live music being played

Enjoyed the weekend, good location,...

Liked: Really good location, breakfast was very nice on first morning but unfortunately they had problems with a fuse blowing so couldn’t provide it on the second day as the kitchen was out of action but they did provide cereal and a drink and also gave us a refund.
Disliked: There was no hot water in our room when you turned the tap to the hot setting it spluttered but nothing came out. We did inform them on the day we checked out about it and they mentioned it could be the boiler and they would check it.

Really enjoyed our stay and...

Liked: Breakfast was good, location was excellent, walking distance to most things. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The shower could have been better.

Very nice stay and excellent...

Liked: The room was good, TV worked, warm enough and clean enough, en suite v convenient, kettle etc useful.Staff were friendly and easy to access etc. out of hours.Ideal location for central York.The breakfast was great, full English and other options plus cereal and juice on the side, and all very tasty.Loved there being black pudding, a real treat!Possible to customise so I removed tomato and my partner didn't get beans etc, which is ideal.
Disliked: The bed was a little small (a double for two).The only thing was we were disappointed there was no ground coffee/coffee machine options - just instant. Would recommend a cafetiere in future for that.

Liked: Great location. Room was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: A little noisy early in the morning.

Lovely rooms above a nice...

Liked: Really nice staff and breakfasts are amazing. Just note that if you are leaving early breakfasts are not possible.
Disliked: Nothing
