Disliked: I would have loved tea in the room. Not a coffee drinker.

Liked: The location of the property to the downtown area could not be more perfect. Easy to walk to everything. Clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Great views from the room. Room #203 -our favorite!!
Disliked: My fault - I guess, booking for Christmas and all- but sort of sad and a little scary that there was no one there for most of our stay. Tuesday was great, but Wednesday (we did spot someone at desk to say Merry Christmas) and even Thursday morning when we checked out - we saw NO ONE. We drove around Christmas Day to find Chinese food to eat and stopped at a convenience store for snacks and drinks. I guess I just didn’t expect that- again, probably my fault. We have never stayed away on Christmas Day and I get that it’s a holiday, but it’s the entertainment/hospitality industry so I figured there would at least be a skeleton crew. Felt weird to use our room card to enter and exit the entire hotel.

We will come back again....

Great location lovely little hotel…..but,...

Disliked: We arrived on a Tuesday to be told the restaurant and bar were closed. We told the receptionist that we hadn’t been told of this, she said nothing, reception closed and the receptionist left the premises. What the receptionist failed to tell us that there was a sister property 2 minutes away and that their restaurant was open. We had to find an alternative place to eat, and then return to a dark, deserted, lifeless hotel that left us no other option to go to our room. Breakfast was basic at best, the restaurant area was cordoned off so everyone was crowded around the bar or sat on the sofas in reception eating breakfast off their laps. The hotel is in a wonderful location, the rooms are large and comfortable, but all this counts for nothing if you stay on a Tuesday when the staff leave at 4pm and everything at the hotel is closed.For a 4* hotel costing nearly $400 a night it is not unreasonable to expect a little bit better service.Our stay was completely underwhelming, we felt so disappointed, our experience could have been so different…. But we got up early and just wanted to leave.

Liked: This was a lovely place to stay, very clean, comfy bed, had a coffee bar, brekky and great location and free parking. What more do you need!
