Liked: Excellent, spacious room. Lovely breakfast selection, staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was very good.
Disliked: The fixed dinner menu in the restaurant was limited (we stayed 3 nights) and could do with a daily 'special' for variety. We ate out one night as we didn't fancy anything else on fixed menu.The seating/table arrangement in the public bar wasn't great. Uncomfortable seats and poorly arranged tables. But the beer was great.

Liked: Excellent accommodation, a really great team of staff who very attentive and super efficient. Excellent breakfast and food delivery very quick and good portions
Disliked: The main menu was very, very limited it needs more balance and choice.

Liked: The cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was local sourced and fresh and the staff.Nothing was to much trouble. I felt safe and welcomed. The owners should be proud of their staff. Plus obviously a wonderful setting

We had a very nice...

Liked: Excellent breakfast served by lovely staff. Dinner too was very good. We had one of the smaller rooms with a big bed ! It was adequate for a short stay. I would recommend The Boat Inn to anyone keen too go to Aboyne.
Disliked: Very hard to find anything we disliked on a short stay.
