Very good

Liked: Not far from the motorway but far enough to provide a quiet location for a relaxing evening.
Disliked: Menu could have been a bit larger.

Great staff, good selection of...

Liked: Restaurant and bar was comfortable and the staff were polite, friendly and attentive.Food was good and a great selection of drinks and snacks.
Disliked: Rooms in real need of a refresh. Bathroom in particular needs attention. I’m sure just a short-sight but no shower gel, shampoo or soap.

Ok for overnight stay ,...

Liked: The location and breakfast was good
Disliked: The rooms were in need of upgrade and a deep clean , found cobwebs, toilet has damp patches and mould on tiles and around bath , mattress extremely soft

It was a pleasant stay...

Liked: Room was warm and comfortable
Disliked: The shower was only luke warm but the bath water was hot. Service in the bar was slow

Good all rounder for one...

Liked: The breakfast was nice. The dinner was OK. They ran out of beef, so we had to take an alternative. It was OK. The staff and manager were excellent. Very friendly and helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: The bed was very firm and the room very warm, but not to the point that we would not want to come back. A less firm mattress would be preferable.
