Staff, Rooms, Food, Location brilliant...

Liked: A lovely, friendly and really comfortable place to stay. Welcoming and helpful staff. Really nicely decorated with interesting information about the history of the inn.It had a great atmosphere and the different menu choices were exceptional - as was the food. Easy to find and great value for money.

Liked: I really like the property - the team are nice, the property is charming and the location is good.
Disliked: There was a really strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and that was smelt in my room, which meant needing to keep the window open and stuff the towel up against the foot of the door, which was a shame because I hadn’t experienced anything like this previously at the Blue Boar

Liked: The staff were friendly and food was good with good options. Bedroom & ensuite were lovely size and worth the money.
Disliked: You could hear the pub conversation in your room very noisy until midnightThe stairs going up to the room were hard to climb It was cold in the room

Cotswolds break.

Liked: Just altogether a very pleasant stay and exceptional value including a lovely hot freshly cooked breakfast were others are often only warm. We also had a very hot dinner, choice of typical pub fare or full Indian menu.We also met a delightful mother and daughter from Munich at breakfast who were going onto Chester, North Wales and back to London, if possible you could pass on my email to them we would like to invite for a cup of tea if they return via Bristol.
