Great location for a London...

Liked: Great Location with easy access to Oxford Street shopping, West End theatres and major sights of London. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom and room were good.
Disliked: We reserved a standard queen bedroom for two. The room was small with only one chair to sit on. We asked for a larger room and the girl at reception said that in a couple of days there will be one and she will notify us, but never came back to us. The cupboard in the room has space for hanging some clothes but no shelves or drawers, so we had the leave most of our clothes in the suitcases. This was not comfortable because we stayed for a week. We didn't try the breakfast because of the high price.

Disliked: The breakfast was ridiculously expensive & slow, considering the price of the room you dont even get a complimentary coffee refill! My husband had a full cooked Irish and half the ingredients were missing, also so stupid to have each thing charged, coffee, buffet etc. never been anywhere like it for such an annoying breakfast in such an expensive hotel

Disliked: I wasn’t going to write a bad review until the check out. I paid for both rooms and no where it was mentioned that there were be any extra charges, and also nothing was mentioned in the check in. However, when were about to leave and our driver is waiting outside to take us to the airport, the receptionist decided to say “oh I’m not sure if i can give ur full insurance money because there is extra services charges (example cleaning the room) and its a 5 star hotel they should clean it everyday. Bottom line, just be careful the hotel will try to rob you in every chance they have. Speak, and pay attention because when we said we wont pay anything cuz nothing mentioned she simply said yah charges were removed.Ps: they also tried to charge us double the price at the check in even after we showed the booking reference
