Liked: Excellent staff. Excellent food.
Disliked: I had a slight problem getting out of my room, having to pull a spring-loaded door towards me. The room could have been slightly warmer. As I had the radiator full on, I think the problem may be with the insulation rather than the heating. An extra blanket may be helpful here.

Fabulous stay with amazing staff.

Liked: Hotel was in the centre of Lampeter, we’d booked a dog friendly room and received a lovely welcome from the staff as did the dogs. The staff were helpful and exceptionally friendly throughout our stay and our dogs received treats and a lot of fuss.Room was large and very clean. Nicely decorated. Bed was in large and very comfortable. Very nice bath too, with lots of hot water.Breakfast in the restaurant was amazing and we had dinner one of the nights which was great too.On the whole, a great stay, will definitely stay again when in the area.
Disliked: Minor points. Shower mixer needs attention, was difficult to get temp right. Attention to some details in the room like the net curtains and wardrobe had seen better days.

Liked: Room clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good location, free parking. Decent breakfast.
Disliked: Internet not working in room. Bath towel very small. Towel rail not working bathroom was very cold.Noisy - woke up at 7.30 could not get back to sleep some sort of generator / ventilator machinery running.Ordered a Christmas Dinner which was possibly the worst I have ever had. Some sort of tinned peas and carrots, looked unappetising, tasted awful. Sprouts looked inedible mush. Pigs in blankets ranged between burnt and not cooked. No mash / new potatoes just two small roasties which were very mushy. Gravy like oily water. Service slow. Tea didn't arrive in teapot as you may expect but in a cup with the tea bag still in it.Weren't told on booking that this was a 'join a party' type dinner in the function room, not a restaurant meal as we expected. Fortunately the people we were sitting with were friendly and we had a nice time, but this would not have suited everyone and we should have been informed. We had paid £10 each deposit and refused to pay the rest it was that bad.

Liked: breakfast was fantastic all local produce.the location was in the middle of the town and was great for us .
Disliked: nothing.everything was great.the only downside was the storm Friday though till Sunday morning.

Liked: Staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. We were there when the storm hit. We were checked on in the morning, making sure everything was OK and if there was anything that kept us awake. Room was lovely, large bed and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Rooms were made daily. Good choice of food for the evening and both continental and cooked breakfast in the morning.
Disliked: Radiator did not work in the bathroom, reported when we left, was not an issue when we stayed as the towels were changed the following day.
