A little gem

Liked: Absolutely beautiful place....pub is very quaint, staff lovely, accommodation perfect, clean and spacious and a delicious, plentiful breakfast....a gem of a find! 5 stars

what pubs should still be...

Liked: location is ideal for those going or arriving from France. Close to M20 . Great traditional pub , log fire and chalet the rooms are great. Blackhorse Burger was excellent, and full English breakfast 2nd to none. staff lovely too. If you are visiting UK , try it but beware, the rest of the UK's pub hotels aren't always this nice. Going to the ferry ir tunnels, stay here and get a goid rest before the continent. 10/10
Disliked: we were only there one night. next day 230 miles north taking 6 1/2 hrs.

The Perfect Place to Stay...

Liked: This is the perfect place, like stepping into another world.A wonderful welcome, an amazing bar and restaurant with fantastic food and, after all that, a cosy bed and the best nights sleep.And, after all that, a big tasty breakfast in an old world inn.
Disliked: We would have liked to have been able to stay for more than one night!
