Very good

A perfect English pub.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic. The room was a combo of old English construction and modern amenities. I had the best night of sleep there I’ve had in months. The pub was wonderful including the people who welcomed me to share drinks with them. And to top it all off the food was excellent. I will definitely stay there again. So much better than the normal airport hotels.
Disliked: There was nothing I’d change.

Liked: Lovely pub/rooms.Very large, comfortable bed & very nice bedroom decor. Bathroom large with very nice, deep bath.Evening meals were lovelyAll staff very helpful & friendly.
Disliked: No breakfast available.Needed to ask for milk each day was not put in the fridge when daily housekeeping was completed.No shower mat - The floor was very slippery, so I needed to use a towel on the base of the shower to prevent possible accidents.

Exceptional

Liked: Location to Heathrow airport was amazing. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming. Food in the restaurant was exceptional.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.

Pleasant enough stay in good...

Liked: A good place for a stop-over. Room was nice, bathroom lovely. Had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was pleasant. Staff friendly but seemed a little stretched.
Disliked: The room wasn't ready on arrival, which wasn't too much of a problem, but when we did make it in there, there were no towels or tea/coffee. I had to go down to the bar to request towels a couple of times as I was running out of time to get ready. Also, none of the lamps seemed to work, although the main overhead light was fine.

Disliked: For the amount it cost we was disappointed with no breakfast and also the tea and coffee facilities was not available

Wonderful relaxing visit!

Liked: The location was wonderful for a quick walk through a pretty quaint town. The restaurant was also very nice. The rooms were very pretty and well decorated. I loved the bath tub!
Disliked: Towel and robe situation was not good in the bathroom closet. They were in disarray... some had been used and couldn't tell what was what unfortunately....
