Liked: The pub and food was excellent. The rooms were well heated.
Disliked: The rooms need updating. There were cobwebs on the coving. The water from the shower ran into the room. The towels were Grey and flat.

Friendly owners, good food and...

Liked: The room first offered, because it was quiet, had heating problems. We were efficiently given another room, which even though it had an interconnecting door was still a better option. Having the restaurant in the Pub with good food was ideal as it saved driving to another venue in the evenings. Having the choice of an included continental breakfast or paying extra for a cooked one suited us. There is a lot of parking space so never a problem. The owners are very friendly, especially Nicola, and seem to run a worthy establishment.
Disliked: There is no shaver socket but the cleaner found us an adapter. There was no hairdryer but presumably one could be sourced by asking. A bedside lamp on both sides would have been appreciated.

Brilliant stay as usual

Liked: Great place to stay, staff and locals are very friendly. Food list amazing for the price. Have stopped half dozen times now and look forward to my next visit. Very highly recommend
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Good food, left early next day so they packed me sandwich up for breakfast
Disliked: only there 1 night, nothing to dislike.

Liked: Cooked breakfast was fine. Nice having a restaurant next door. Also enjoyed the walking path right at the property.
Disliked: Some of the fruit served at breakfast was unwashed, grapes & strawberries had mildew and mold

Liked: Really lovely and comfortable room. Landlady was very welcoming and the breakfast was great (paid additional for the full english). Would definitely stay there again,
