Nice place, great location!

Liked: Lovely building (no elevator..,,,(not a big deal for us, but may preclude others). Clean and large rooms. Not much in the way of storage, but to be expected. Freindly and helpful staff. Only one blanket on the bed...grew cold at night. No soap in the cabinet under sink, so washing dishes difficult. Overall, will defintitely stay at the Bishop again.

Our dog was welcome, and...

Liked: Did not use the hotel breakfast. We enjoyed the wine and appetizers and music.
Disliked: We are in our late 70s, so access to room up 26 steps proved a little challenging.

Perfect location for a short...

Liked: Quaint, spacious and historic hotel with a nice cafe and bar. Great location close to downtown.
Disliked: Note that this hotel has very steep and lengthy stairs.

Liked: The location couldn’t be beat.
Disliked: I couldn’t locate my room, #19. It was in the third floor while most of the other rooms with numbers starting with 1 were on the 2nd floor. A sign near the staircase to indicate that a few of the unexpected numbers were on the upper floor would have helped enormously.
