Liked: Breakfast was good apart from the cafetière exploding over the table but was quickly cleared up by staff
Disliked: Slippery bath when having shower especially once using shower gel no rubber bath mat provided

Very good

Liked: The location of the Inn is lovely and very handy for access to Witney and surrounding villages.The room was clean and comfortable and very spacious.The evening meals were excellent.
Disliked: The room was a little shabby and could do with decoration and new lamps.The breakfast was OK but I had to make my own coffee from a tin of instant, which I found disappointing considering the price I paid for the room. I also found the staff to be not particularly friendly, apart from Tom who was lovely and made me feel very welcome.

Liked: It’s a lovely building very warm and well preserved. The family room we stayed in was very spacious and well equipped. Good mattress and pillows. The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing the same with the beer and wine. However the real gem is the staff. Young, polite, smiley people, all you hear is “we most certainly can”! Really lovely to see a group of young professionals running this place to such high standards.

Liked: Highlights - the food, always boiling hot and very delicious, good selection of beers, amazing service, good value for money
Disliked: The room had some paint touch up on doors which was a different grey to the original color so seems facilities, even though spotless, look like they may have been neglected slightly

Disliked: Would have liked some choices in room for tea e.g fruit or herbal. Maybe some fruit salad or mixed soft fruit for breakfast would have been nice too.
