Liked: Clean good condition food good staff friendly not good if disabled or hard to walk but good for us
Disliked: Only ting restaurant upstairs but good for us

Overall a pleasant place

Liked: Light, airy and clean room that was at a good temperature for us. Nice, modern decor.
Disliked: The extractor fan in the bathroom was intermittently very noisy. No plug sockets for the kettle or hair dryer unless you fought your way behind the TV.

A must stay !

The Birchtree was well located...

Liked: The dining room was nicely decorated and the food was good and reasonably priced.
Disliked: The bedroom was very hot at night and as it was above the kitchen the extraction fan was very noisy , however the fan was switched off promptly when the kitchen closed.

Liked: The room /bed was very comfortable once we figured out the heating, it was also lovely and clean. The meal we had in the bar was very nice..The staff were extremely friendly too.
Disliked: The bar maybe lacking a bit in a atmosphere and very bright!
