This family-run hotel offers attractive en-suite accommodations in the center of Dalbeattie on Scotland's beautiful Solway Coast in Kirkcudbrightshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside it is 12 miles west of Dumfries. The Birchtree Hotel is a good base point for local beaches golf courses fishing and Dalbeattie Forest with its mountain-bike trails. Very good

Liked: The room /bed was very comfortable once we figured out the heating, it was also lovely and clean. The meal we had in the bar was very nice..The staff were extremely friendly too.
Disliked: The bar maybe lacking a bit in a atmosphere and very bright!

Value for money in the...

Liked: Excellent dog friendly hotel , thought it would be poor due to the pets allowed policy but we where surprised clean comfortable and the food well excellent . The bar gets busy at night and even the crowd where great . An excellent stay in a great location 10/10
