Good

Liked: Location good , friendly staff , food in bar good choice and worth a visit.
Disliked: Nothing not to like but odd to have a shower in the room, with no dividing wall, also no bacon at breakfast on the first morning at about 945 , when hotel is located close to excellent butchers, but this does not take away from a very pleasant stay.

Pleasant

Liked: Nice clean rooms, fairly comfy bed and shower was best I've had In a hotel to date.
Disliked: Breakfast starting at 8 with only one chef cooking fresh for multiple guests. Bit of a pain for business stays if you starting work early I didn't order cooked breakfast as there were 2 tables before me waiting for there's and they were waiting nearly 30 minutes.

Disliked: The bed was really uncomfortable, there was only 1 pillow per person. The breakfast was soaked in grease as if it had been deep fried.

Noisy Friday Night

Liked: We enjoyed our stay. Convenient and perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable room, though a bit on the small side, and friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, though cleanliness of utensils was a bit of an issue - we had to wipe dried, greasy food off forks, spoons etc before eating. Cleanliness of clothing worn by waiter was also below standard for working in a kitchen.Dinner menu looked good but unfortunately we could not eat there because the dining room was on first floor with no lift and one of our friends, also holidaying locally, could not access it due to their difficulty in climbing the stairs.Rooms and public areas recently and pleasantly decorated.
Disliked: Booked for 3 nights but decided not to stay for a fourth as cost excessive for additional night. However our disappointment and only real complaint was the noise of the karaoke on Friday night. We could not use our room until 1200 midnight due to the noise and vibrations coming through the floor from directly beneath our room. Admittedly the noise did stop dead on midnight but as an elderly couple and after a long tiring day we would have like to have been in bed a little earlier.
