Disliked: The plumbing, the electric and the heat/AC all need to be updated. We arrived to a freezing cold room due to the heat being broken. We went to wash our hands and brown water gushed from the sink as if it hadn’t been used in a long while. We tried to call down to the front desk to ask for maintenance to fix the issue only to find out that their phone system was broken and we had to call down using our cell phone. If those were the only problem, I wouldn’t complain. There was no hot water for our showers, the outlets (I tried multiple) kept on shorting my blow dryer. We went down in the morning to let the front desk know our dilemmas and they then switched our room to the 11th floor. We were out all day and when we got back, all we could hear was a loud rattling coming from the HVAC. We called down for help and he said “the hotel is old, it can’t be fixed”. We had to sleep with a window open for air flow and the temperature was in the 40’s that night. All in all, it was an interesting stay in a historic hotel but I will not be returning.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Not one staff member smiled the entire three days, pillows were awful and there was dog poo in the hallway on our level, awful stay. Also we could not put the heating/cooling on as it was so loud.

Disliked: Cleaning issues, we have changed 3 rooms, all of them had the same issue: cleaning. Last room , even though was Junior Suite, a huge ventilator from outside was creating an annoying sound.
