Liked: The staff is awesome! Being a historic hotel, it needs some TLC. Carpets fraying. Scuffed walls. Columns broken. It is a part of LA history, and it needs some love. Vents need cleaning. You expect it to be white glove and immaculate.

Fair due to cold pool...

Liked: Pool was too cold. Parking is weird and expensive. Beautiful hotel.

Liked: Hotel is nice for pictures, but that's about it.
Disliked: Parking for hotel guests is all the way on the 10th floor, in a separate building. Room was smaller than pictures posted. Closet door and bathroom door were very loud and squeaky. Furniture is old. Staff and customer service was okay. View was a brick wall.

To summarize, not a "bad...

Liked: The printer at the Front desk.
Disliked: The windows are so old that it's like they are open all the time. Single glazing absolutely not soundproof. The hallway "fragrance diffuser" is so strong that it is really bothering. The staff is polite but I suspect that they are not well paid, they don't look happy to do their job…Deluxe King Size, sounded promissing but it was a normal room with nothing "Deluxe" and king size ? Isn' it supposed to be 76 in × 80 in ? This was more a queen size !To summarize, not a "bad hotel" but not really pleasant.
