Liked: This hotel is perfect in every way. Customer experience dictates the feedback & ours was perfect. Staff were without exception friendly & approachable without being too familiar . The food & beverage options were first class but they are only as good as the finished product. There again the food we were served was excellent from breakfast through to evening meal: well presented and where appropriate served on a HOT plate (you would be surprised at how many perceived quality establishments serve hot food on a cold plate!) which in my opinion is of paramount importance. Our bedroom which was designed for a disabled guest, was spacious, warm & clean with a comfy bed and tasteful decor. Furthermore we enjoyed quality room products I.e. White Company toiletries & Taylors coffee bags with the option of fresh milk. Milk jiggers are my pet hate so was quietly impressed that I didn’t have to grovel for the fresh milk. One other point which has been an irritation in the past is the lack of or location of parking. Not here !! I loved the sympathetic restoration of what would have been an old coaching inn. The proximity to the town centre was ideal not that that is an essential requirement. All in all a satisfied customer. I wonder now if the rest of the hotels can boast the same high standard of hospitality.To conclude I had a career as a college lecturer in hospitality & in hotel management for over 30 years & sometimes think that if I am disappointed or dissatisfied with my accommodation, I am expecting too much. However at The Beverley Arms everything was ‘text book’ . I defy anyone to find fault in the establishment.

There stay was truly memorable...

Liked: It was a special treat for my elderly parents. Room for the night, lunch, eve meal and breakfast. Dad said it was probably the “ best breakfast he’d ever had”!! Marie the lady on the desk was wonderful as we’re all the staff. The only bad point ( which was a shame as the stay was faultless) the young man serving in restaurant did not deal very well with sorting a table for them, apparently there was a leak above? But he believe Marie came to the rescue and sorted out a table, she is a credit to the place. Mum and Dad really enjoyed their short stay and that’s thanks to the wonderful staff. So a big big thankyou from me. Food was lovely too during lunch/evening meal.
Disliked: Nothing it was fab just the young man who was not very good re customer care. I don’t like to complain but if you want perfection you really did smash it for my parents. I’m very grateful. Fabulous room too.
