With original stone flooring this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town center 2625 feet from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster. Fully refurbished in 2018 it has free on-site parking rooms with attached bathroom and a restaurant. The interior seamlessly blends many original features from 1794 including the arches in the old kitchen with more modern artwork log fires and woodburners. The rooms are individually designed and feature flat-screen TVs hairdryers work desks and tea/coffee. The private bathrooms have showers and toiletries. Downstairs the bar and lounges are open throughout the day for drinks coffee and snacks and the light airy restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the Chefs at work. All the food is freshly cooked and features many local and regional producers. Outside there's a large sheltered courtyard with Champagne bar and booth seating. It offers good transport links to York Leeds Hull Doncaster and Sheffield.

Very good

Fantastic stay with wonderful staff...

Liked: All the cleaning, reception staff, bar staff,dinning staff couldn't do enough for you during our stay
Disliked: The chefs Gordon Romanesque attitude of hot breakfast is 7 o'clock am the chefs should be on site. It was not fair to the guest or the waitress as they had to make excuses for them all the time.
