Liked: Comfy rooms, and perfectly located in town
Disliked: Only that the restaurant was closed for renovations

I’d stay here again when...

Liked: The room was cozy and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the tavern had a nice atmosphere and very good food. The lobby fireplace is a nice touch.

Disappointing historic hotel

Liked: Location, car park
Disliked: The hotel pool was closed (we were not warned in advance that it would be closed for repair). The breakfast was not available either. The concierge on arrival was unable to provide accurate information (we had to ask about pool, breakfast etc). There is also no lift for those with limited mobility

Exceptional

Liked: It was a nice stay for our traveling needs.
Disliked: No air condition, but I am from Florida and expected air condition but didn't really need it.

Expensive with extra fees. Needs...

Liked: The location is great. The grounds look great because it is a golf course. The suite had a little balcony but it was dirty. The suite was spacious and the windows open.
Disliked: The hotel charges an additional fee for the pool and gym even if you do not use them. They don’t tell you about the fee before. The towels were not replaced or the trash taken out during our 5 nights stay. When asked, we were told that we had to ask everyday. The carpet was full of stains and the balcony was dirty.

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Breakfast was not worth the cost of the buffet. Sheets and blanket were scratchy. Landscaping by our room entry door was horrible, full of weeds. . Roads to our building/ room were full of potholes. People above us had loud barking dogs.
