Unarguably a luxury experience but...

Liked: Very high service standard and exceptional room service food and drink. Fully opening windows feature too which is a bonus.
Disliked: I found it difficult to convey my housekeeping instructions. The housekeeping line is not monitored closely enough and with more particular requirements one wants direct conversation with housekeeping team. Toto washlet toilets are close to the least pleasant consumer durable goods ever manufactured. A warm toilet seat and spray- yuck! Similarly, the gimmicky self opening bins basically didn't function.

Liked: - proximity to Hyde park & underground station - bed very big and comfortable - Cedric grolet bakery onsite- nice full selection in minibar of food and snacks
Disliked: - water in shower / bath not very hot - open plan bathroom layout with no doors to shower or toilet is not to personal preference- not very clear on what breakfast was included with the room when we asked the waiter in the abc kitchen restaurant response was ‘we will work it out’ which is not very clear on what we paid for. - basic toiletries not in room when arrived had to wait for them to be delivered ; toiletries provided quite basic would have expected more luxury toiletries like individual bars of soap (instead of big ones probably used by previous guests too)
