This property was a fantastic...

Liked: The room was very large by Manhattan standards. We had a great amount of closet space and movement space in the room. The bathroom was nice and we had a small kitchenette which we did not really need but I could imagine it being useful to have. Well placed lighting. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was nice. Everything felt clean and fresh. The staff was so knowledgeable, helpful, clear, and friendly. We were even given really nice umbrellas to use for the day when it rained. This property is extremely convenient for walking to Midtown sites and is one block from Subway to go uptown or downtown and about 7 blocks to Grand Central Station to get anywhere.
Disliked: The only thing I would have done differently was bring my own shampoo and conditioner. They are renovating the dining space so there was no on site access to meals or drinks (other than the snacks and beverages stocked in the room). However, immediately around the corner of the front door was a bodega that was open 24 hours where you could get a little bit of everything including juices made to order or burgers, bagels, etc.

Liked: The room was great for having a 6 and 8 year old. The location is great. We were able to walk most places. A welcoming feeling when you check in ! The Benjamin is our go to hotel when visiting NYC

Liked: Excellent location (slightly quieter). Recently refurbished. Lovely, spacious suite. Ideal for a family stay. Caring and courteous staff.
Disliked: Lobby area quite small.

Great stay for family of...

Liked: The newly renovated hotel is lovely. The rooms are minimalist in decoration, but that is my preference for a hotel. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. There was plenty of room for my family of four (two adults, two teens) to stay in one of the king suites. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
